Katherine Zoepf, an international reporter and faculty member at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, has reported extensively from the Arab world and developed a keen focus on the lives of the women who shape, challenge, and define it.

She will be introducing her new book, Excellent Daughters: The Secret Lives of Young Women Who are Transforming the Arab World, which examines the current generation of Arab women and how they are influencing and shaping their societies, as well as talking about the challenges and experiences of reporting this topic abroad.
