  Visiting Scholar, Dave Winer, holds an ongoing Thursday evening roundtable discussion from 7-9pm at 20 Cooper Square, Room 654.

  The discussions are informal, but not commercial. The meetings are open, not invite-only, but there is space for 20 - 30 people in the room. Sign-up is required due to security (RSVP to: dave.winer@gmail.com). The discussions are moderated according to BloggerCon rules (http://bloggercon.org/II/newbies.html).

  Things Dave is interested in accomplishing: booting Hypercamp, learning how to be a reporter and learning how to teach people to report, helping NY-based startups get started, keeping the Internet free from corporate business models. Your goals may be different!

  You may invite other people who you feel may be New York Media Hackers. Please be sure they know that we're not interested in unsolicited product pitches. This is not a good place for a business model!
