Mary D'Ambrosio is a freelance writer specializing in business, economic and international topics. A former editor at Global Finance magazine in New York and reporter for the Associated Press in Venezuela, she has worked extensively in Latin America, covering the Mexican peso crisis, the North American Free Trade Agreement and developing country investment. Her work has appeared in Working Woman, Working Mother, Newsday and the San Francisco Chronicle. She holds a B.S. in magazine journalism from Syracuse University and an M.Sc. in economic history from the London School of Economics. Prof. D'Ambrosio teaches graduate-level Writing, Research and Reporting I and II, and summer classes in travel writing.
