Chris Glorioso is a professional on-camera news reporter for New York City’s WPIX Channel 11 News at Ten. He specializes in crime, political, and investigative stories. His reports have exposed lax oversight at privatized correctional facilities and maintenance problems on the Roosevelt Island Tram. Chris’s coverage of the murder of Manhattan college student Imette St. Guillen helped prompt state and local lawmakers to strengthen regulations governing nightlife bouncers.

Before coming to New York, Chris reported and anchored at local television stations in Pittsburgh, PA and Burlington, VT. He began his career as a radio reporter and anchor in Syracuse, NY. Chris is an Emmy nominated reporter who has been honored by the Associated Press for his live coverage of breaking news and for a series on teenagers and sexually transmitted diseases.

Before coming to NYU, Chris was also an adjunct professor of journalism at City College.

In his free time, Chris enjoys foreign travel as well as playing lacrosse, golf, and basketball. He makes New York City his home, but will always root for his beloved Baltimore Orioles!
