Jennifer Bleyer
Jennifer Bleyer is a journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Salon, Cosmopolitan, Babble, The Progressive, The Christian Science Monitor, Monocle, Time Out New York Kids, The Forward, Tablet, New York Magazine, Alternet and other publications. She was a reporter for the City section of The New York Times from 2004 to 2008, and previously was the founding editor and publisher of Heeb Magazine. Her articles and essays have appeared in The New York Times’ Book of New York (Black Dog and Leventhal 2009), The Modern Jewish Girl’s Guide to Guilt (Dutton 2005), The Fire this Time (Vintage Anchor 2004) and Yentl’s Revenge (Seal Press 2001).
