John Owen, the former executive producer and chief news editor for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, is founding director, Freedom Forum European Center; executive producer of NewsXchange, an international broadcast conference group; chair, Frontline Forum; and a trustee of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting.
