Matt Wolf
Matt Wolf is London theatre critic of The International Herald Tribune (online at www.nytimes.com/global) and a founder member of the new culture-themed website, www.theartsdesk.com, where he is theatre editor. Prof. Wolf spent over 13 years as London drama critic for Variety and 21 years as arts and theatre writer out of London for the Associated Press (AP). Having freelanced over the years for most major papers either side of the Atlantic, Prof. Wolf is the author of two books, including one on the Oscar winning director Sam Mendes's tenure running London's Donmar Warehouse. In addition to NYU/London, he teaches for Syracuse University / London and for the continuing education division of UC Berkeley. Prof. Wolf is a Yale graduate who has lived in London since September 1983.
