A Radio journalist and producer, Professor Murillo is the host of WBAI Radio's Wake Up Call, and the fill-in host for Brian Lehrer on WNYC FM. He is a regular contributor to NPR's Latino USA. Previously, he was a reporter with 1010 WINS. He is now an Assistant Professor of AVF at Hofstra University. Professor Murillo is also the author of Islands of Resistance: Puerto Rico, Vieques and US Policy (published by Seven Stories Press, 2000). At NYU, he has taught "The Media in America" since 1999.
