Nicole Pezold is the associate editor of NYU Alumni Magazine, where she began as an original contributor to the first issue in 2003. Her reporting and criticism have appeared in Poets & Writers and Publishers Weekly magazines. From 1997-99, she worked in Mali, West Africa, as a Peace Corps volunteer. She holds a joint MA degree in journalism and French studies from NYU and a double BA in political science and French from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
