Tatsha Robertson is an award-winning journalist, and currently the news editor for Essence Magazine. Until December of 2005 Robertson headed the New York City bureau for the Boston Globe, covering feature, enterprise and news stories from all over New York City and across the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to working in New York City for nearly three years, Robertson was the Globe's national rover, traveling to all but four states in search for stories. During her eight years at the Globe, Robertson has covered major events, ranging from the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and its aftermath to the migration of Katrina victims to Houston. Robertson is known to have a keen eye for compelling stories and the ability to execute them.

Born in Boston and raised in Greenville, SC., Robertson has also been a writer for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, where she worked on several award-winning investigative pieces; The Post Tribune in Gary, Ind. and the Greenville Piedmont in South Carolina. Robertson currently lives with her husband in Weehawken, NJ.
