Rosemary McManus Beirne
Rosemary McManus Beirne has been a teacher and journalist for many years, most recently as an Assistant Managing Editor at Newsday in charge of the Sunday edition. She also has taught in the graduate program at NYU, as well as undergraduate journalism classes at Iona College. She began her career as a reporter and editor at Gannett's Westchester Rockland Newspapers before going to Newsday. She has a degree in journalism from Fordham University.
