Professor Silver is a freelance writer who is currently working on a book about nature documentaries. She also writes about art and design for Forbes, Paper and Postcard, as well as for women's magazines. She is the author of the book Logo Design (Rockport Publishers, 2001). She has taught "Feature Writing" at NYU since 1998.
