Prof. Yvonne Latty, Director of Reporting the Nation/New York's first documentary, "Sacred Poison" was awarded the David Horowitz Media Literacy Award at the Sante Fe Independent Film Festival. The 30-minute documentary, which tells the story of the legacy uranium mining in Navajo Nation, premiered at the festival.
