Shahan Mufti is an adjunct instructor at the Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies at New York University. He was previously Pakistan correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor and GlobalPost and his work also has appeared in the Boston Globe, The Nation, The New York Times, Harper's, Columbia Journalism Review and many other publications. He has been a guest at many radio and television shows on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, CBS, BBC, and NPR. He served as a Fulbright scholar to India and has a master's degree in journalism from New York University and a bachelor's degree in International Political Economy from Middlebury College, VT.
