Alex Cotton is graduate student in the magazine program of New York University’s Arthur J. Carter Journalism Institute. His reporting has focused on public health issues, both in New York City and globally, with an emphasis on HIV in marginalized groups. In the fall of 2008 he was an editorial intern at City Limits Weekly, a quarterly magazine that covers issues affecting New York’s low-income and immigrant communities.
