Baghdad-born Ali Alnaemi is graduate student in journalism at New York University, specializing in national reporting. He was a freelance reporter for the BBC and for Voice of America in Iraq, and from 2004-2007 was the newsroom manager for the New York Times bureau in Baghdad.
