My name is Anne Urda, and I am originally from South Bend, Indiana. I
am currently a second-semester graduate student in the NYU journalism
department, with a newspaper concentration. I graduated in 2001 from
William & Mary with a B.A. in history. After college, I moved to
Washington D.C. and worked for nearly three years as an assistant
historian for the Daughters of the American Revolution before deciding to pursue journalism.
