Working in radio since 2002, he has freelanced for Maine Public Broadcasting’s “Maine Things Considered” and National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.” His work for NPR was part of the series “Reflections on Return,” produced by Youth Radio in Berkeley, California. The series won an Edward R. Murrow award in 2005 for Best Series on a Radio Network.
