Zorik Pesochinsky is a senior at New York University, where he majors in journalism and minors in politics. He was born in the Ukraine, and with his parents made a harrowing journey to the United States at age 3. Though still fluent in Russian, he has lost any trace of an accent. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, and has contributed to several New York-area publications.
