Prof. Vivien Orbach Smith

Prof. Vivien Orbach Smith is a freelance writer for women’s magazines including Good Housekeeping. She is a co-author of Soaring Underground: A Young Fugitive’s Life in Nazi Berlin (The Compass Press, Washington DC, 1996). She is also a speaker for UJC National Speakers Bureau throughout the United States on such issues as tolerance, conformity, identity and ethical decision-making. Since 2002, she teaches “Feature Writing” and a Feature class for Washington Square News at NYU.
