Habib Battah is a freelance journalist and NYU grad student pursuing an MA in journalism and Middle Eastern studies. Before moving to New York, he lived in the Middle East where he has worked for Al Jazeera, The Daily Star newspaper, Future Television and others. He was also the managing editor of the Beirut-based Journal of Middle East Broadcasters and has appeared on BBC, CNN, Euronews and others as a blogger and Arab media analyst.
