Tim Harper is the author of Moscow Madness, License to Steal, and several other books. The editor of the ASJA Guide to Freelance Writing, his stories have appeared in dozens of magazines, from Atlantic Monthly to airline publications, and have won a number of national awards for writing and reporting. His newspaper credits include virtually all the major American newspapers. A former AP national writer, international desk editor and polling director, he has taught journalism at Columbia, Marquette, Montclair State and in Boston University’s London program. A former freelance foreign correspondent, he also works as an editorial and publishing consultant and is a partner in Long Dash Publishing.
