A walk down Canal Street reveals the amazing food, strange shops and unmistakable hanzi of Chinese immigrants who have settled in this enclave south of Little Italy. Landmarks include the Kimlau Memorial archway in Chatham Square, a statue of Confucius in Confucius Plaza, and countless facades mimicking traditional Chinese architecture.
