Andrew Garib is from Malton, Ontario, Canada, just outside of Toronto. During college at Cornell University, he was the Editor in Chief of Turn Left, a progressive student newspaper, which he helped transform into a publication of significance on campus by the time of his graduation in 2006. Garib also interned at Campus Progress, the youth and campus outreach division of the Center for American Progress. Garib is passionate about American politics and inspired by insightful, creative journalism.
