Carla Haibi is graduate student in the food studies department at New York University, Carla is interested in writing and reporting about food and culture. Originally from Lebanon, with a B.S. in dietetics, Carla worked in Qatar for three years; she then realized that what she really wanted was to study food and culture in New York. She got a Fulbright scholarship in 2007, changed the track of her career and has been experimenting is the city’s ethnic cuisines ever since.
