Cynthia Allen is a graduate journalism student at New York University with a specialization in magazine and feature writing. Before attending graduate school, she worked as a Communications Manager with SmithBucklin Corporation, an association management company, based in Washington, DC. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000 with a degree in communication studies. Cynthia resides full time in Alexandria, VA.
