Jamie Locher is a graduate student at NYU’s Department of Journalism. She was born in Smyrna, Ga. sometime during the Reagan administration and earned a Bachelor’s degree from UGA in 2005. After teaching high school in Baltimore, Locher spent the spring of 2008 teaching English in China. She recently discovered the magic of RSS feeds, and owes her prodigious knowledge of national affairs to same. When she is not covering the national beat, she enjoys biking, yoga and day-old lo mein.
