Joelle Zarcone is currently a journalism graduate student in NYU’s Reporting the Nation program. She was born in Brooklyn, but has lived in Las Vegas for the past ten years. She’s a 2008 graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she majored in English and minored in American History and Political Science. Joelle has interned for the Department of Defense in Press Operations, Good Morning America Los Angeles Bureau, and for the U.S. Senate. She enjoys writing creative non-fiction stories, loves to run, and is obsessed with pancakes. Her dream job is to be the speechwriter for the president of the United States.
