Joy Keh was born and raised in Queens, N.Y. After receiving a B.A. in Italian Studies from the University of Rochester, she loved teaching English in South Korea. She is pursuing an M.A. in Investigative Journalism at NYU, and hopes to write on urban and civil rights issues for a major newspaper. She plans to attend law school focusing on international law and human rights accountability.
