Julia Furlan has arrived at the Global Journalism and Joint Studies master’s program at NYU by way of Florence, Los Angeles., São Paulo, Boston, and Salvador (to name a few). Focusing on Latin American Studies, and particularly Brazil, her journalistic endeavors often seek to explore the complexities of the immigrant experience in the United States.
