Katie Kane is a graduate journalism student specializing in the Reporting the Nation program. Originally from Philadelphia, Katie also attended NYU as an undergraduate, earning a degree in French in 2005. After living in Paris for four months while in college, Katie is highly proficient in the language. Her interest in broadcast journalism was confirmed through a stint as the fashion host of the Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s show In and Around New York. Most recently, Katie has had the opportunity to hone her writing and copyediting skills through her professional work in advertising.
