Katy Bolger is a graduate journalism student in the Reporting the Nation program at New York University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Emerson College in Boston, and her masters’ in Education from NYU. Katy has spent the last 10 years as a public school teacher of American history at City-As-School High School in Greenwich Village and before becoming a teacher she was a freelance theatrical producer and general manager in NYC. Katy is primarily interested in news and editorial writing.
