Patrick Lattin is pursuing a joint master’s in journalism and French studies at New York University. Aspiring to work as a journalist abroad, Patrick has focused on the art of journalism, as well as linguistics and international culture, politics and relations. He earned a dual BA / BS (majors: French, journalism, theatre; minors: English, German, political science) from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan. Patrick has studied French for more than a decade, began a devotion to learn German while stuck on the Franco-German border for a year and dabbled in Russian for some time, though he has forgotten anything beyond introducing himself. Patrick has worked at several daily newspapers in his home state of Kansas; at a high school in Sarreguemines, France; in two marketing and alumni relations offices; and doing odd jobs including writing and editing.
