Sharon Hakakian is an undergraduate student at New York University, studying Journalism and Middle Eastern studies. She integrated her two interests working at ABC’s Investigative Unit, dealing with Middle Eastern cases in particular. Sharon plans to continue along this path, hoping to travel to the areas that interest her in order to fulfill her dream of becoming an international journalist. She has also contributed to other publications, like The New Haven Independent. Sharon is originally from New Jersey and spends her time between NYC and NJ.
