Vanessa Kitchen is a graduate student at New York University working towards her M.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Magazine Writing. She spent two years at Vassar College before transferring to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where she graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology. Vanessa is originally from San Francisco. She hopes to work as an editor or freelancer for a magazine writing feature stories on style, nightlife, cuisine, travel, politics, international news, and urban issues. She isn't picky. Vanessa also plans to write a novel, travel to Australia, marry rich, go on MTV's Real World, learn to surf, and discover the perfect shade of bleach-blond.
