Those 3 little numbers come with a hefty price. This past week, I had to do an assignment that required that I not use the internet to access information in order to get students to not be so dependent on the internet for research. I remember that I made the statement that I would have to call a number of these places but wasn't sure of the phone numbers. A number of individuals that I spoke with told me to just dial 411. I said 411 charges you know? Apparently, a few of them were unaware.
I decided to just type in a search engine "411 charges a fee" and I got a number of sites to come up confirming that information. Sprint was one of the carriers that I found which charges a fee and many other carriers, I found may charge more.
It's ironic, that even for customer service you are charged a price. So folks, the moral of the story is to read your bills rather closely. You might want to resist the urge to dial 3 little numbers that may result in getting a bigger bill.
