Citibank Student Loan Corporation

I have a friend who told me to blog this subject for her. She noticed two things about Citibank Student Loan Corporation. One, is that they extended their customer service hours, from Monday-Friday from 8 a.m to 11:00 pm. Is that good or bad though? Does that mean students in debt can be harassed till the late hours of the night or that more questions can be answered within a greater span of time? I guess it depends on how you look at things.

Next, she was frustrated because she was on the phone, this past weekend and couldn't get her balance. Why she would want to know is beyond me, but it was rather frustrating because she couldn't obtain that information over the phone. I wonder if she checked the web?
