Diversity Reporting Grants
NYU Journalism is offering fifteen (15) grants of up to $1,000 each to graduate or undergraduate students who are working on substantive reporting projects in any medium that explore the social, economic, or political challenges facing marginalized communities.
The grants are designed to support research costs associated with reporting these stories. (Please note, however, that because of temporary restrictions related to the pandemic, students cannot use these funds to support travel at this time).
NYU graduate and undergraduate students. To be eligible to apply, graduate students must be enrolled in an NYU Journalism masters program, whereas undergraduate students should be declared journalism majors or minors.
