This short course will offer an introduction to photojournalism from shooting, editing and post-production. Students will bring whatever device they have – whether it be a sophisticated DSLR camera or a smartphone – and learn some of the tips, techniques and tricks of contemporary digital storytelling.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Christopher Booker is a video producer/reporter with the Financial Times in New York City. He also teaches a multi-platform story-telling course at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.

This event is free for currently-enrolled NYU journalism students, staff and faculty. Alumni may attend for a $45 fee.
