The human brain isn’t set up to conceptualize numbers. Part II concentrates on the the theory, philosophy and practice of displaying statistical information in visual form, both for the purpose of discovering hidden trends and anomalies, and to persuade an audience of your findings. Class is taught using a variety of tools. Students planning to attend should be somewhat comfortable managing and organizing data sets. Excel knowledge is a plus, but not required.
