GlobalBeat is NYU Journalism’s international field reporting class, run by Professor Jason Maloney. This course prepares graduate students for the rigors of overseas reporting while developing broadcast-quality video news reports for prominent national outlets. A trip to an international location is part of this class, taken during Spring Break. Past Destinations: Bosnia, Morocco, Senegal, Ukraine. 2016 destination TBA.
