BER Alumna Mia Lamar—Gerald Loeb Award Winner and Pulitzer Prize Finalist

Mia Lamar, who graduated five years ago from the Business and Economic Reporting program, won the Gerald Loeb Award in the category of international reporting as part of a Wall Street Journal team that published “Malaysia’s Missing Millions.” The Loeb Award is the most prestigious prize in business and economics journalism. Mia was also a Pulitzer Prize finalist in the category of International Reporting, also as a member of a team at WSJ that reported on financial corruption in Malaysia.
