Frank Flaherty
Francis Flaherty is the deputy editor of the Home Section of The New York Times. In 18 years at The Times, he has served as investment columnist, investment editor, and deputy editor of the City and Metropolitan Sections. He is the author of The Elements of Story: Field Notes on Nonfiction Writing (HarperCollins) and, besides The Times, has written for the Atlantic, Harper's, The Progressive, Commonweal and other publications. He has degrees from Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and has served on the NYU adjunct faculty since 2000.
