Grad Students Report on the border for “La Linea: Stories from El Paso”
Reporting the Nation and New York in Multimedia, traveled to the US-Mexico border city of El Paso, Texas to report on one of nation’s most contentious issues: immigration. Students explored living near what locals call, “the tortilla curtain”
NYU graduate students partnered with the University Texas- El Paso’s award-winning borderzine.com to create a collection of stories that reflect daily life in “the safest city in America” and also, the epicenter of the immigration crisis.
