Two NewsDoc Alums are semi-finalists for the Student Academy Awards

Congratulations to Laura Zéphirin and Maria Florencia Smith, NewsDoc 2019! Their thesis documentaries, Making Waves and Tic Talk: Time to Heal were short listed for the 47th Student Academy Awards. They are part of 93 films to advance this year out of a total of 1,468 films. Finalists will be announced in August.
