Sabal Almadi

Before coming to NYU, I was working in a public relations role. While that was an incredible experience, I was always passionate about writing and telling people’s stories. AJO allowed me to combine my passion for journalism and public speaking, and while I was a student there I created my own podcast, The Bedouin’s Coffee Corner – which I write, host, and produce. The podcast is now one of the top podcasts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and since leaving AJO, I’ve been profiled in various magazines and newspapers about the success of the podcast. I’ve also started a Ph.D. in International Relations.  My experience at AJO helped me turn my interests into tangible skills and a new career that I am extremely proud of.
