Pulitzer Prize-winning health reporter Amy Dockser Marcus wrote the Journal’s recent nine-part multimedia series focusing on families who are taking science into their own hands to try to save their sick children. Interactive producer Sarah Slobin was her partner on the project, which took six years to complete.
