Kathryn Kranhold is a veteran journalist. Over more than three decades, she has written in-depth features and investigative pieces on a wide range of topics from corporate malfeasance and global leaders’ offshore financial deals to the criminal collusion of the art auction houses, Sotheby’s and Christie’s, and the downfall of Hollywood’s famous Chasen’s restaurant. Kathryn has written for the International Consortium of Investigative Reporters, as a contributor to the “Pandora Papers.” She was part of the Center for Public Integrity’s team writing about the economic effects of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and the award-winning podcast, “The Heist.” For more than a decade, Kathryn wrote for The Wall Street Journal, covering General Electric Co.’s far-ranging global operations and the legal system. She was the part of the team covering California’s energy crisis and the rise and fall of Enron. She is currently a contributor to The Examination, a non-profit global investigative news site focused on public health.
