Students are required to take two internship credits. Most students take one internship credit in the second semester (Spring) and one credit in the Summer Session between the second and third semesters. Other students take one credit in the Summer Session and another in the fall. Students intern in the business and financial reporting section of a newspaper, magazine, broadcasting station, or online publication. Most of these internships are in New York City.
