NYU Journalism Alumni Named Pulitzer Prize Winner and Finalists

 

Join us in congratulating alumni who were finalists for and were awarded the 110th Annual Pulitzer Prizes in Feature Writing, International Reporting, Breaking News Reporting, and Biography.

Aaron Parsley (Magazine & Digital Storytelling 2005), was awarded first place in the Features category for his piece “The River House Broke. We Rushed in the River,” published in Texas Monthly.

Jared Maslin (Global Journalism 2013) was a finalist in the International Reporting category as part of The Wall Street Journal‘s coverage of the atrocities of Syria’s Assad regime.

Lance Richardson (Literary Reportage 2015) was a finalist in the Biography category for his book True Nature: The Pilgrimage of Peter Matthiessen.

Heather Rogers (Literary Reportage 2014) was a finalist in the Audio Reporting category as part of The Wall Street Journal‘s podcast “Camp Swamp Road.”
